The boat ride along the Madu River was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by lush mangroves and the sounds of nature. We also got to visit small islands and observe local villages, which made the experience even more special.

Our guide, Sandun, was fantastic—he provided insightful information about the river ecosystem, wildlife, and the history of the area. He made sure we got the best views and took plenty of time to explain everything we were seeing. We also had the chance to spot some incredible wildlife, including exotic birds and even monitor lizards.

The entire tour was smooth, well-organized, and a true highlight of my visit to the area. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you, Look Lanka Tours, for a memorable experience!

  Deceptive and disappointing  - Look Lanka’s service was shockingly inadequate and deceptive. Despite advertising as if all trips were included, we had to pay over €500 per person for activities on the spot. The... read more accommodations were nowhere near the promised standard, with some hotels in appalling conditions. One hotel was even located next to a sewer and we had to walk through dirty water to get to the entrance of another hotel. Their refusal to cover basic day trips left us with wasted days, unable to do anything. Communication was painfully slow, full of empty promises and finger-pointing when things went wrong. The 'scenic train ride' they advertised was an outright lie—what we got instead was a brief, filthy third-class journey that barely cost them a few cents. Their meager compensation of a few euros per person didn’t even begin to address the significant extra costs and inconvenience we endured. This company’s blatant disregard for delivering what was promised is disgraceful. After further communication Look Lanka still claims everything they did was right and we had no grounds to complain.

Look... read more Lanka tailored the perfect tour for us, including Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle, Yala and Minneriya national park. The program was densely packed and never boring. At the end of our journey, we spent a day at beautiful Bentota Beach. The trip was well organized from start to finish. All hotels were beautiful and carefully selected in good locations.

We went on two jeep safaris and saw lots of wild animals like elephant, bear, leopard, monkey, eagle, bat and birds.

Our special thanks go to Sandun, who looked after us excellently from the time we were picked up at the airport to the return flight. He is a very good driver who guided us safely through the crazy traffic in Sri Lanka. We always felt safe with him. Sandun was very nice, polite and friendly, always with a smile. He was always on time and had good knowledge of the visited areas. During the trip Sandun told a lot of interesting things about Sri Lanka and the daily life.

Everything was perfect from the beginning when Sandun received us at the airport until the end of the trip when he left us at the airport again!!
